My wife & I were first time home buyers, and Meg played an integral role in this process from beginning to end. We were relocating from out of state and had a ton of questions, and because of Meg’s experience, knowledge, and persistence, we were able to move into a beautiful house on an equally beautiful piece of land; something we never thought possible.

Every time my wife & I flew to North Carolina to look at properties, Meg drove us around to view them. She provided us with insight into each town and community, local businesses, potential home builders, things to do… you name it.

Throughout the building process, she coordinated & facilitated meetings with our builders & designers. Not only did she accompany us during these meetings, she took copious notes, which she regularly referred back to in order to ensure things were being done as agreed, and asked a lot of questions we didn’t even think to ask. As first time home buyers/builders, we were lost at times and Meg led the way.

Meg constantly did research on our behalf and spoke with her colleagues when the inevitable build-related challenges came to be; her diligence and composure kept the frustration levels down and the project moving forward.

Other examples in which Meg went above and beyond include recommending a reputable real estate attorney, a broker for Builder’s Risk Insurance, and a gentleman who specializes in private home inspections & water testing (get your water tested if you have well water!). If Meg hadn’t recommended doing that private water test, my wife & I would be ingesting and bathing in well water contaminated with radon, heavy metals, and bacteria.

In addition, after working with us for over a year, and after we “closed” on the house, we received the news about our poison well water. We needed an immediate fix or we wouldn’t be able to move into our new house. We found a company to address the issue, but the day they had availability for installation was at a time when both my wife & I were unavailable. Meg offered to come to our house to meet & greet the water filtration company’s installation team. She stayed addressing questions & providing guidance until I was able to come home and take over. If she hadn’t done that, who knows when we would have been able to get that equipment installed, ultimately, delaying our move in date indefinitely. What kind of real estate broker does that? Meg does.

That is why Meg is the best realtor in the Raleigh area and arguably the state of North Carolina. She’s more of a concierge real estate broker because she goes above & beyond; she provides more assistance, guidance, and knowledge throughout the entire process than your average real estate broker and she really cares about you.
